We are to hold our AGM back at BAVIA House as a one off (you may recall the projected very high rental costs made this unviable for us to continue there as a base for classes). We are very grateful that BAVIA is accommodating this meeting and this will enable us to provide a free afternoon tea and finger food after the meeting that will run from 2pm to 4pm on Wednesday the 30th April.
All members are encouraged to attend what we wish to make an enjoyable and informative social occasion. The meeting will include the election of the Management Committee. Any member of U3A Broadbeach may nominate for this Committee. Under our constitution new committee members are elected for two years.
On this occasion the follow positions are filled for next year

Under our constitution the following will be putting themselves forward for re-election (these are nevertheless positions that someone else can be nominated for).

There are vacancies for a further 4 members to join the Committee and with our Webmaster and Publicity Officer standing down we will welcome in particular nominations from those with IT or Marketing skills. Rest assured we will be able to use the talents of anyone coming forward in these or other areas.
