Lismore is a town in the northern Rivers region of New South Wales and is known for its strong arts and culture scene, diverse agricultural industries and natural beauty. It is a regional hub with a growing population of creatives. You can wander the streets of Lismore to view the regional art gallery and Back Alley Gallery, which has a network of over 60 murals, by International and local Artists |
Here is our very own Ruth Welch, Secretary and Art class tutor with her drawing of her father in military uniform which was entered into the Anzac Day RSL ART Show for U3A Broadbeach for which she won first place! Ruth's art work was drawn from her father’s enlistment photo and is in artist quality coloured pencil on sanded pastel paper.
Congratulations Ruth !
