Update on Classes Restarting
We are pleased to advise that most of our classes will be restarting from Thursday, 13th March.
Some classes cannot restart yet as venues are not safe to open or are being used for other activities by the council.
Burleigh Waters Community Centre Main Hall and a Meeting Room are being used by the council for the rest of term 1 as an evacuation and support centre. They have allowed us to use the Activity Room and one Meeting Room for the remainder of term 1.
Classes usually held at Burleigh Waters Main Hall have been transferred to other venues – please refer to the Newsflash email sent to all members with full details. Please understand that we have tried our best to move classes into other venues on the same day and time they are normally held. In some cases we had to change the time in order to find a suitable venue.
Classes are restarting at Broadbeach Seniors Centre.
French Beginners on Wednesday 19 March and Italian Intermediate on Friday 21 March
Please note: Our office at Burleigh Waters Community Centre will be closed during the remainder of Term 1 due to the centre being used as an emergency centre and community service facility.
The office will reopen in Term 2.
