Relocation To BAVIA House 2023

It became apparent towards the end of 2022 that Merrimac State High School was finding it difficult to accomodate our needs given the rapid increase in pupil numbers. We were fortunate to find accomodation for many of our activities at BAVIA House. This is located in Broadbeach Waters not far from our former hub at Merrimac State High School. The name reflects that it is also used by the Gold Coast 'Blind and Visually Impaired Association' that meets there at different times from our U3A. A number of our activities continue to be based at other locations identified during the COVID constraints when the school was closed to us for significant periods.
