Our next planned Excursion will be taking us to FORT LYTTON NATIONAL PARK - on the southern bank of the Brisbane River.
Upon our arrival at Fort Lytton we will firstly enjoy our morning tea, before joining a guided tour of approx 1 hour, to learn all about the rich Military history of Brisbane.
Onwards then to the Wynnum-Manly Esplanade, about a 10 min drive, where we can enjoy the sea breezes and the sea views as we indulge in our lunch of "Uber Type Eats" at any of the many gazebo type seatings available there.
Trevor, our Coach Driver, will pick up our pre ordered "Uber Type Eats" whilst we are visiting Fort Lytton and it will be a fun and different way to "DO" lunch together.
Then - homeward bound - expecting to be back to BAVIA House by approx 4pm.
It is expected that this excursion will be a cost of $45 per person [all inclusive] but as with all excursions, costs are determined by the number of travellers, so the more the merrier also means more cost effective.
If you are wanting to secure a seat or seats for this excursion - please reply to Robyn's email, which went out to all members on Monday, 8 April, with your expression of interest by FRIDAY 19th April and then all intending travellers will be emailed very soon after that date with final details of cost, payment dates and payment options.
