Coach Excursion

A very warm welcome is extended to all of our U3A Members and their guests, to come along and enjoy our first Excursion together for 2024, with our destination being Cauldron Distillery, Mount Tamborine.
Cauldron Estate and Distillery is the newest destination on Mount Tamborine, located in the Hartley Rd Winery Precinct and is set in 18 acres of beautiful established vineyards and lush green meadows, making way for a great new experience for everyone.
We will be meeting at BAVIA House on TUESDAY 27th February by 9am for our Coach to depart at 9.15am, to begin our journey to Mount Tamborine, stopping en route for a morning tea stop at a picturesque location.
Upon arrival at Cauldron Distillery at approx 11.30am, we will be welcomed with tasting paddles, which include 15ml of their 525-range gin (Sunset,Mountain and Coastal) with the choice of either Long Rays Soda or Tonic served on the side.
Their trained staff will take us on a journey through a detailed flavour palate of each gin and each texture, after which lunch will be served in their lovely surrounds, with time to relax and enjoy a glass of wine (maybe ?) viewing the vineyards, the meadows and the scenery of the Scenic Rim, before we begin our journey back to BAVIA House, expecting to arrive there by approx 4.30pm.
It is expected that the cost of this Excursion will be $60.00 per person (all inclusive) but as with all excursions, final costs are determined by the number of travellers, so the more the merrier making it all the more cost affective.
If you are wanting to express your interest in securing a seat or seats for this Excursion please reply to Robyn's email, which was sent to all members on 3 February, by FRIDAY 16 FEBRUARY and final details will be emailed to all travellers very soon after the 16th with the final cost per person, the payment options, dates etc.
