Lecture title: Addressing dynamic uncertainty in the whale-watching industry under climate change and system shocks.
Presenter bio - Dr Olaf Meynecke
Dr Olaf Meynecke is a Research Fellow, Whale Ecology, in the Coastal and Marine Research Centre at Griffith University. He is currently managing and advancing the Whales and Climate Program, an international research program on the impacts of climate change on whales.
As the CEO and co-founder of Humpbacks & High-Rises Inc a not-for-profit research organisation dedicated to urban marine mammal research and protection, Olaf spends his spare time studying the health of humpback whales in south-east Queensland and leading marine expeditions.
The lecture venue is in room, G30_1.09 (same room as our last lecture) and the schedule will be:
