Hearing and the Brain
Over the past 3 years I’ve been running public seminars on Hearing & Brain am grateful for the positive feedback and support I’ve received, on the Gold Coast I’ve been running these every 2-3 months at Griffith University Southport. I’ve also recently presented at service organisations, community education groups, retirement communities and at professional in-service training by invitation from the patients I’ve helped. Much of what I cover is surprising insights from recent research on the links between untreated hearing loss and cognitive decline that I’ve spent hundreds of hours pulling together and which I aim to share as widely as I can.
I deliver my presentations free of charge and can tailor them to suit your group and timeframes. I now live on the Gold Coast at Paradise Waters and have a practice in Southport.
I’ve recently published a best-selling book on the topic ‘Hearing & Brain Health’, currently listed on Amazon for $27.60; I make this available free of charge for anyone that attends one of my seminars. The information is purely educational and there is absolutely no sales pitch. In my presentations I cover:
✅ how memory loss, cognitive overload and tinnitus may be caused by untreated hearing loss;
✅understanding the importance of preserving the neural pathways between the ears and the brain, for the prevention of memory loss;
✅ why it’s important to take action early.
