Poetry Appreciation

Poetry content for this year is along themes such as nature friendship love etc.

Sessions will be varied.  For example:

• Members can bring along some of their favourite poems and we can discuss the features of poetry
• Wordsworth and other nature poets
• Australian poets
• American poets
• Free verse and modern poetry 
• Everyone would be welcome to read their poem choice
• Members can talk about why they like a poem or talk about its possible meaning and poetic features​
