Learn how to speak Spanish. Why?

  • Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world and so knowing Spanish is incredibly useful if you are travelling.
  • Learning Spanish is great for keeping your brain active and plastic (a good thing). It is fun to learn new things with a group.

Each lesson is two hours long but the time flies as the tutor keeps the class involved with different activities. The emphasis is on speaking Spanish, avoiding the use of formal grammar as much as possible. The tutor also varies the lessons according to the needs of the group. You will need to practise at home if you are to benefit from the lessons.

What should you  bring to class:
  1. an exercise book and a pen
  2. an English-Spanish or Spanish-English dictionary (these are hard to find in a Gold Coast bookshop – suggest you buy online)
