Coach Excursion on THURSDAY 23rd June 2022 to Summerland Farm Alstonville.
(Formerly House with No Steps)
Summerland Farm is a beautiful macadamia and avocado farm set high in the Ballina Byron Hinterland.
This multi award winning attraction is ours to explore and ours to enjoy for a day in the country, while visiting a real working farm, where we can taste and purchase the delicious produce and enjoy a tasty 2 course lunch.
Upon arrival we will be met and greeted by our guide Stuart, who will escort us to the restaurant and fill us in on the inspirational story of Summerland Farm, which began in 1972 and is now positioned as one of the most successful disability enterprises in Australia.
We will be meeting at Merrimac High School by 9am for our Coach to depart by 9.15am - on Thursday 23rd June - then we will journey on into Northern NSW, with a comfort stop at Murwillumbah, before heading on to
Summerland Farm - to arrive there at approx 12.30pm.
We will have plenty of time after a leisurely lunch in their restaurant, to enjoy the Retail Hub and the beautiful tropical gardens, the stunning fig tree with its canopy of fairy lights and the event locations around the farm, before we make our way back to Merrimac High School to arrive by approx 4.30pm.
It is estimated that this excursion will cost approx $55.00 per person
(all inclusive) but, as with all excursions the total cost is determined by the number of travellers,
so - the more the merrier and the more cost effective for everyone.
Please reply to this email if you would like to secure a seat or seats for this excursion, by 6th June 2022 and then all travellers will be emailed with the final details - i.e - lunch choice, final cost, payment dates and details etc, very soon after that date.
