U3A Broadbeach Covid Vaccination Policy
U3A Broadbeach Inc. is committed to ensuring the health and safety of its tutors and members.
We are also obliged to satisfy Queensland Government requirements during the covid-19 pandemic.
Following the latest changes made by the Qld. Govt. to its vaccination policy on Tuesday 5th April, 2022, members who are not double-vaccinated are now permitted to attend all classes and activities held outside of Merrimac State High School.
The requirement for all those entering Merrimac State High School, to be double-vaccinated or have a registered medical exemption, still remains a Qld. Govt. requirement.
Members must comply with the safety measures outlined below:

This policy has been developed in line with legal advice. Our Covid Safety and Vaccination Policy will be periodically reviewed to take into account any relevant changes to Queensland Government requirements.

- Attend only if you have not had a recent close covid-19 contact
- Socially distance wherever possible
- Ventilate the area if possible
